TINA LOUISE- AUTHOR

Tina Louise is the author of the inspirational Be the Bird book series she creates with her husband, artist Richard Lorenz. She writes children's books to encourage the use of their imagination and social skills. Her books are often about acceptance, human kindness, and just being you. When she's not working on books, you may catch Tina eating chocolate and playing with her grandchildren. (usually at the same time)

T’Louise is an Independent Southern author born just south of Cloutierville (clue-chee-ville), Louisiana. She believes in family, love and truth. Family roots in the Cane River area of Louisiana has given T’Louise the ‘special sauce’ and spicy disposition to convey life in a unique fashion that all, young and old, can enjoy.

With a background as a social worker, counselor, freelance writer and mother of five (6 grandchildren)…gives Tina the unique qualifications to create children’s books that bring joy to kids of all ages.
‘BE THE BIRD’ is a reminder to all of us that we are individuals. There is not another Bird quite like you. You are one of a kind…here on purpose…for a purpose.

Tina has the distinction of being an award winning author with many regional and national accolades in her field.
